About one-and-a-half years ago I had five implants and the rest of my upper teeth extracted. The dentist I then had made a set of upper dentures for me; however, because of bone loss the dentures would not stay in without using denture adhesive cream. That I could live with. The hardest thing for me was that when I smiled I looked like I had no teeth at all on top.

A friend recommended Dr. Theisen to me and because he is truly an artist, he was able to perform a miracle and designed me a new upper plate that stays in without adhesive and, when I smile, my teeth show – and are they beautiful!

I am so grateful to Dr. Theisen and his very competent staff. They all worked very hard to give me what I wanted and everything worked out much better than I could have hoped for. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

One day I was listening to the radio and this ad came on about Sedation Dentistry. It said you are sedated and you don’t feel a thing. I thought this was the way to go for me because I’m the biggest chicken when it comes to having anything done by a dentist.

One day in April I called Dr. Theisen’s office to have them send me the information on this procedure. A few days later I received a packet in the mail with all the information plus a CD to listen to. I looked at it all and put it back in the envelope and set it aside.

Finally, in about five months I called Dr. Theisen’s office and made an appointment. Two weeks later I went in for my first appointment and had some teeth filled, had two temporary caps put on and some cleaning done. I tell you what, that was a piece of cake for this person who was so scared. I would highly recommend Sedation Dentistry to anyone who is frightened of a dentist.

I have suffered from genetic problems all of my life. About 2 years ago while I was pregnant, my teeth started to break off. I was horrified to smile. Unless you experience dental problems yourself, it’s hard to appreciate the significance of smiling everyday. I knew I had to get something done but I was too embarrassed to see a dentist.

One day, I heard an ad on the radio for a dentist, Joe Theisen, that stated they were nonjudgmental, so I decided to bite the bullet and go in. I was very emotional on my first visit as I was so scared of being ridiculed for my teeth. The staff and Dr. Theisen were completely understanding and comfortable to talk to. I never once felt judged.

I had a lot of dental work done at the beginning of January 2007 and I cannot explain in words how fantastic I feel. The surgery went great. I was nervous I would be in pain, but I never once had any pain during or after the procedure.

Not only did the surgery make my smile 100% better, but I’m also more aware of my health and better eating habits. I used to drink several servings of soda every day. Since the surgery, I have not drank any soda. I never thought that would be possible.

I can finally smile everyday without covering my mouth. It was a liberating experience and I strongly recommend any patient to see Dr. Theisen and his staff. They are wonderful to work with. I am completely elated with my experience.

Dr. Theisen and all the people at Regis Court Dental were pleasant, helpful, and professional. Dr. Millington, who did the implant surgery, was also professional and thorough, ensuring that there were no infections. Everyone explained all procedures that would be done and the cost involved.
